This "Dark Sunrise" is the outcome of a perfectly timed sunrise over one of Minnesota's beautiful lakes right before the arrival of severe thunderstorms, then combined with some human creativity. Such a unique moment stirred the desire to create an even more unique scene. A creative artistic session during the editing process created this colorful and "dark" scene.
